      I lead go-to-market for Itron grid reliability solutions serving distribution operations and electric delivery in the utility.

   2. Senior Product Manager · Grid Management

      Jan 2022 – Jun 2026

      I led a portfolio of Itron's global grid management and distributed intelligence products, focused on improving reliability and grid management. I grew it into a global product portfolio, and several products I launched went from idea to prototype to revenue within a year.

      What I took away: Getting quickly to a prototype aligns R&D, sales, and customers better than any roadmap slide.

2. Eaton

   1. Regional Technology Manager · Energy Systems

      Apr 2020 – Jan 2022

      I owned a portfolio of research programs in Eaton's corporate programs and managed a cross-functional team of more than 10 researchers, engineers, and project managers. As part of an 11-person global team, I helped shape the cross-business strategy behind Eaton's global EV charging infrastructure business.

      What I took away: Teams move fastest through ambiguity when they trust each other.

   2. Technology Leader and Specialist Engineer · EV Charging Infrastructure

      Jun 2018 – Apr 2020

      I led energy management technology and research projects, also establishing a roadmap for Eaton's EV charging infrastructure business.

      What I took away: Customer discovery is key as a first step to align business and technology direction with customer needs.

3. Schneider Electric

   1. Power System Engineer

      Aug 2016 – Jun 2018

      I was technical lead in arc flash studies and pioneered a distribution-facing consulting group. I ultimately improved safety for Schneider Electric and its customers.

      What I took away: Internal-facing innovation can be as valuable as external-facing innovations.

Ventures

• UON Technologies

  Co-founder, President and COO · 2012 – 2016

  Monitoring the deep ocean means getting data out of places cables and radio can't easily reach. UON set out to commercialize underwater optical communication networks. I led product development, market strategy, and operations for a team of 24, and built partnerships with universities, the military, and industry to develop and test the technology. I'm a co-inventor on the related U.S. Patent 9,992,038.

  What I took away: The power of team diversity combined with focus on a clear objective should not be underestimated.

• RPNE Technologies

  Owner · 2012 – 2017

  A prototyping practice that turned clients' ideas into working electrical systems, from laboratory robotic measurement devices to consumer electronics. I managed and mentored a team of engineering consultants through proposals, business cases, system integration, and testing.

  What I took away: Understanding and empathizing with the customer is half the battle, and if done well, will set you apart from competition.
